CLINICAL PARTICULARS

Target species :- Chickens, Calves & Lambs.

Indications

DOXYLIN-50 WSP is used to treat infections of the respiratory tract caused by Mycoplasma spp., Escherichia coli, Haemophilus paragallinarium and Bordetella avium.

Enteritis caused by Clostridium perfringens and Clostridium colinum in poultry.

Amounts to be administered and administration route

For oral administration:   100 g/500-1000 litre of drinking water for 4 – 5 days.

CLINICAL PARTICULARS

Target species :- Chickens, Calves & Lambs.

Amounts to be administered and administration route
Oral use.

Calves & Lambs: 100 000 IU of Colistin per kg body weight daily for 3-5 consecutive days,i.e. 0.50 ml of product per 10 kg of body weight per day for 3-5 consecutive days

Chickens: 1 litre per 2000  litres of drinking water (75000 IU of colistin per kg body weight daily for 3-5 consecutive days).

Only sufficient medicated drinking water should be prepared to cover daily requirements. Medicated drinking water should be replaced every 24 hours.

Indications

Gastrointestinal infections caused by Colistin sensitive bacteria, like

E.coli,Haemophilus and Salmonella spp.

4.9 Amounts to be administered and administration route

For oral administration.

100 g per 100 liter drinking water for 3-5 days.

4.2 Indications

ERYMYCIN-20 WSP is indicated for the treatment of chronic respiratory disease (CRD) caused   by Mycoplasma infections, and for the treatment of infectious diseases due to erythromycin sensitive bacteria such as staphylococcus aureus (infectious arthritis), Haemophilus paragalinarum (eg. Infectious coryza) and Pasteurella multocida (Pasteurellosis, pneumonia) in poultry.

4.3 Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to erythromycin

Concurrent administration of tetracyclines, Chloramphenicol, macrolides and Lincosamides.
